Atie is an accomplished payments industry veteran with over twenty-six years of experience in the field, currently serving as Verizon’s Director of Payment Strategy and Operations. At Verizon, she leads initiatives to drive innovation and growth in the payments space. One of her key focus areas at Verizon is promoting the adoption of real-time billing via a request for payment (RfP) among banks. Atie’s success in the industry is related to her passion for innovation and ability to think creatively. Before Verizon, Attie worked at Alltel until it was sold to her current employer. Attie is also active in numerous trade groups supporting the industry, including the Merchant Advisory Group, Merchant Risk Council, TCH RTP Corporate Advisory Group, and Visa North America Executive Risk Council.
