Chryssi Chorafa was the founder and CEO of StarLiX and now serves on the board of directors. StarLiX builds a payment technology theory emphasizing complete first for end-to-end transparent cross-border transactions. StarLiX has an innovative compliance tokenized payment system for PIs that enables cross-border payments to underdeveloped nations.
Chryssi has a professional interest in the creation of a financial system that is financially inclusive, robust, and sustainable. She has applied her expertise in various fields, including regulatory compliance, risk management, treasury operations, and payment processing, to realize her interest. As CEO, Chryssi implemented treasury and risk analytics solutions for blue-chip organizations across EMEA.
Chryssi is also Kalgera’s chief operating officer. This FinTech early-stage business focused on financial vulnerability and was ranked among the top thirty tech startups in the UK TechRound 2020. Chryssi has a Bachelor of Engineering with Honors in Civil Engineering and a Master of Science from the University of Warwick in Financial Mathematics and Tech Entrepreneurship (UCL). She has earned certifications in Investment Advice from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), Risk Management from the Professional Risk Managers International Association (PRMIA), Machine Learning from Mindstream AI, Blockchain from UCL CBT, and Entrepreneurship (MIT). She is a lecturer at LIBF and has a role as an industry associate at UCL CBT.
