Christina Villa Vives

Founder and CEO

Cledara

Cristina is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Cledara, a pioneering platform that integrates team management tools and a payment system to give businesses more agency over their software. Cristina was recently named one of Forbes Spain’s 21 changemakers of the year and the 2021 EMEA Women in Payments Unicorn Challenge winner for her efforts to revolutionize how businesses utilize software. Melinda Gates’s Pivotal Ventures and Microsoft’s M12 also named her one of the top 5 Female-Founders in Enterprise SaaS outside the United States.

Cledara is fulfilling her dream of creating a firm that aims to improve business processes and people’s lives. She spent a few years in the banking industry working on process modernization before moving on to a fintech startup, where she experienced the struggle between rapid expansion and the chaos that results from a lack of processes and control. The proliferation of software subscription teams was singled out as the root cause of this problem. Christina was interested in the matter since it included more than just the disjointed procedures and wasteful inefficiencies that cost the business money. It has real-world repercussions for those impacted. Cledara, Christina’s firm, strives to make the workplace more like a community where people get along and are helped by technology rather than hampered.
