Akita is a Senior Vice President in the primary role of POS Lending at U.S. Bank. Akita worked in various roles in business transformation, proposals, strategy execution, and business development in retail financial services and payments at U.S. Bank (Elavon), Mastercard, Visa, Citi, Barclays, and HSBC for over 21 years. She has a deep knowledge of markets at various growth phases and cultural differences throughout Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, having lived and worked in five countries. Her educational foundation includes a bachelor’s degree from Delhi University and a master’s in business administration from XLRI Jamshedpur.
