Yang Yang is the Managing Director of Xendit Philippines. She was born in China and emigrated to the United States as a child. Yang Yang had her first coding experience when she was just five years old and has always shown an interest in computer programming. As a result, Yang Yang attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge and received her bachelor’s degree with a concentration in computer science. When she started working for Xendit, she co-founded a cryptocurrency trading platform in the Philippines and served as its Chief of Strategy. During her time there, she learned about the prospects presented by the Philippines’ financial infrastructure. Her experiences in life and the workplace have inspired her to further her career and make good on her desire to establish a whole new digital payments infrastructure for Filipinos via Xendit Philippines.
