Anita Loh is the Managing Director and Group Product Development Head of the UOB Group. In her current position, Anita drives and defines product strategies and develops, enhances, and delivers market-leading wholesale banking products. These products include but are not limited to cash management, receivables, payments, liquidity, trade finance and & services, factoring, and supply chain financing across UOB’s presence in Asia Pacific. In addition, Anita is responsible for delivering these market-leading products. Anita was the Managing Director and Country Product Head for Citi Treasury and Trade (TTS) in Singapore before she started working for UOB. During 2004–2009, she worked as a seconded employee for Citi China to establish commercial banking operations in China.
Anita played a pivotal role in the creation of FAST in Singapore. She led the industry risk and liquidity workgroup, tasked with addressing the risk and liquidity concerns associated with the newly implemented 24/7 real-time payment infrastructure. As a member of the industry steering group, she maintains her role as a contributor to the progression of Singapore’s payment infrastructure. She is a well-regarded RMB product expert. As such, she often offers her ideas to the Monetary Authority of Singapore on establishing Singapore as a thriving RMB center. Anita was among twelve young professionals featured in Singapore Business Review’s 2014 Class of Forty. The same year, she was honored with the title “Institute of Banking and Finance Fellow.” Under the guidelines of the Industry Corporate Banking Common Test that IBF managed, Anita was appointed “Exam Board Member” in 2015.
