As President of Mastercard Canada, Sasha Krstic is accountable for all areas of the company’s operations in Canada and leads the regional strategy to continue expanding Mastercard’s brand and business in the country. At Mastercard, Sasha has served in various leadership positions, including those in significant areas worldwide. Her most recent role was as Executive Vice President of Services for Asia-Pacific. Between 2016 and 2018, she oversaw the Nordic and Baltic regions, during which time she oversaw and was responsible for expanding eight different markets.
Sasha started her career with Mastercard in Canada, bringing her global experience back to the United States in 2019. During her eleven years in Toronto, she was Senior Vice President and Group Head for Global Products & Solutions and Issuer Relationship Management. In her former role, she oversaw the development of innovative products and services that benefited consumers, merchants, and business partners. In the latter part, she worked closely with financial institutions across Canada to strengthen relationships and strategically grow Mastercard’s market position. Sasha is a graduate of the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Arts in Native Studies and an International MBA from the Schulich School of Business.
